We are a family business in the process of creating a beautiful holiday park. Join us for the journey.
At present we offer a safe place to camp at an uncrowded site nestled among native forest and accessed by a well-formed private road. We also run an ecotourism business and a wildlife conservation trust centred on the Westland Petrel, which breeds on our property. Our conservation work means that the dawn chorus you will enjoy from your campsite is worth waking early for. Besides the usual birds species, the Great Spotted kiwi also inhabits the surrounding forest and may be heard calling at night.
Cost: $10 per adult per night/$5 per child
Location: 40 km north of Greymouth/5 km south of Punakaiki and the Pancake Rocks (map here), from where we also operate Petrel Colony Tours, Night Sky Tours, the Glow Worm Dell and the Westland Petrel Conservation Trust.
Facilities: Besides roomy parking sites in a scenic location, we provide basic facilities – non-flush toilet, free wifi, picnic tables and drinking water.
