As well as camping accommodation near Punakaiki’s famous Pancake Rocks and blowholes, the Paparoa National Park is at our back door. Explore the stunning limestone gorges of the Fox and Pororari Rivers, or the sea sculptured coastline along Truman Track.
We also offer a variety of natural history tours within the rainforest on our own property.
Petrel Colony Tours
Visit the only breeding grounds of the worlds largest burrow nesting petrel, the Westland Petrel. Evening and morning tours to the petrel colony are available from 1 April to mid December.
Please visit our Petrel Colony Tours website for full information.
When you are at the holiday park, ask your hosts Denise and Bruce about opportunities to volunteer with the Westland Petrel Conservation Trust.

Rainforest Glow Worm Dell
Experience the magical lights of our glow worm dell, nestled like a fairy ring within lush sub-tropical rainforest. Access, via guided tours only, is along an exciting boardwalk that weaves through the forest. The 45 minute tours in the early evening are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, though there is no wheelchair access due the presence of stairs.

Night Sky Tours
On a clear night viewing of the night sky on the West Coast is second to none. Come on a tour of the stars, planets, galaxies and nebula using our computerised Maksutov telescope, or lie back and view the Milky Way through a pair of binoculars.
